Written by Stephen, IE
An eastern wind swept over land, and against all tide
And within its swirling mass, a lost flower cried
In far-off lands, earth to root – it did find
And bestowed to the world, splendour, one of a kind
Petals of silk and fragrance beyond decree
A Chinese flower reached forth to me
Behold, I saw it blossom, and intoxicated by the scent
Let beauty caress my soul, but found love only lent
Alas, I let go, but to this day
An eastern wind – upon my heart does weigh
Speak your Mind Here
