Job Description Department the intern will be working Legal department, provision of legal advisory & ensuring effective legal and contractual management Job Description1


Leadership: Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of staff and resources in the Legal department // Policy Development: Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures // Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements. Job Description2


Legal Risk: Review and provide legal advice on tender documents & Regulatory Compliance: Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly. Job Description3


Review ongoing cases and advice management accordingly & Contract Negotiation: Review all contracts or any other documentation where the Company has committed itself itself and assess effects Job Description4


Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken & Create contractual instruments to assist business activities Job Description5


Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management & Administrative Duties: Provide continuous supervision and training of department staff Job Description6


Provide and interpret legal information, disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff & Liaise with the HR department in conducting performance appraisals and ensure competency to fill GAPs Measurable results expected from the intern

  • Company experiences 0 legal obstruction (risks effectively managed)
  • Management is efficiently notified of all legal related activities
  • Effective management of any legal department staff members

Salary: EUR 751.00

Duration:Minimum 1 year

Requirements:

  • Background in Legal – Commercial and international Law
  • Work Experience: Existing work experience in law is preferred – commercial and international business law is also preferred
