London: The GSMA today announced the first speakers for the 2018 Mobile 360 – Russia & CIS conference, which will take place 30-31 October 2018 at the Four Seasons Hotel Moscow. Mobile 360 – Russia & CIS is a regionally-focused event drawing senior leaders from government and regulatory bodies, the international ICT industry, and other economic sectors to address the implementation of the region’s digital economic plans.

Event Agenda
Day One of Mobile 360 – Russia & CIS will explore the region’s digital economy ambitions and how it can position itself as a global leader in 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) adoption. Issues that will be addressed include how current policies position the region for digital transformation, the role of regulation in facilitating innovation and the business models needed to support the rapid rollout of new technologies such as 5G and IoT.

Day Two, following the morning discussions on the future of the digital era, Huawei will lead a half-day forum on digital evolution, featuring discussions and case studies on 5G. Vedomostiwill host a keynote session and attendees will be also able to attend a selection of in-depth GSMA workshops on digital identity, capacity building, Rich Communications Services (RCS) and IoT.
