The European Sting @ European Business Summit 2014 – the preview

The prestigious European Business Summit 2014 took place last week at Egmont Palace in Brussels. More than 1650 attendees this year, EU policy makers, businessmen and NGOs paid a visit to the business heart of Europe on 14 and 15 May. The European Sting, official media sponsor of the summit, as a keen follower of Europe’s most significant events and conferences, was also there last week; not just to attend and report on the event but to contribute actively this year to the unique business dialogue by taking 9 exclusive interviews back to back in just a few hours time with some of Europe’s most prominent personalities. While the complete coverage of the event is undergoing its last modifications, we thought to share with our prominent readers a preview here of some highlights from last week and some exclusive photo material from the Sting interviews that will be very much discussed in Brussels and beyond. EBS 2014 hosted some of the most prominent European personalities like the President of the European Commision, Jose Manuel Barroso, Emma Marcegaglia, President of BUSINESSEUROPE, the famous writer and economist Jeremy Rifkin, Commissioner Michel Barnier, Tim Bennett, Director General of the Transatlantic Business Council and Hannes Swoboda, President of the Socialists and Democrats.
